Frequently asked questions

Quick answers before you send your cards.

How do I start?

Choose Consignment, Grade Prep or Restoration on our Services page. Submit your card inventory and clear front-and-back photos through the service’s intake form. Keep your LC reference.

What information should I include?

List the card name, year/set, number, quantity, condition or grade, estimated value, and any known damage or previous treatments. Include your exact card count.

What is the difference between grade prep and restoration?

Grade prep prepares cards for submission, including light surface care and protective packaging. Restoration begins with an assessment of specific damage and an approved scope of work. Tell us about prior treatments and your intended use.

How many cards can I submit?

Grade prep has no card-count limit. Restoration is limited to 1–5 cards per order. Consignment inventory is reviewed before acceptance.

Are grades or improvements guaranteed?

No grade, grade increase or restoration result is guaranteed. Grading companies make their own decisions. Restoration may affect originality, value or grading eligibility; review the proposed methods before approving.

What are the consignment fees?

The listing fee is $1 per card. Accepted auctions start at $0.99 and run for seven days. See the Rates page for current payout tiers and the calculator; approved lots have separate terms.

When should I pay?

Wait for written acceptance and payment instructions. Prep, grading, restoration and shipping are itemized separately. Prepaid consignment listing fees are credited on settlement.

When and where should I ship?

Wait for written acceptance and the confirmed receiving address. Protect each card, pack securely in a rigid box, and include your inventory and LC reference. Use the agreed tracked shipping and insurance.

Is shipping included?

Inbound shipping, return shipping and insurance are confirmed separately in your written quote or acceptance. Review those arrangements before shipment.

How long does service take?

Timing depends on the approved service, card condition, workload and any grading company involved. Request a current estimate during review; grading turnaround is separate from preparation time.

How do I check my order or payout?

Reply to your confirmation email with your LC reference for a private update. The Updates page shows general grading progress. Consignment payout method, timing, fees and unsold-card arrangements are confirmed in writing.

Does submitting intake authorize work or a sale?

No. Intake requests a review. Work, listing and payment proceed only after the relevant acceptance and approvals.
